Founded in the year 1930 following the merger of seven air carrier, today American Airlines (AA) is a big name of airline service vertical across America and Europe. This pre-eminent Airline Company has generated over 900,000 jobs worldwide and aided close to 1,400 nonprofit organizations. It is also a founding member of the One World Alliance, the largest aviation groups in the world, which is known for providing the best range of services to its customers. Moreover, it is considered one of the major airlines in the world, serving over 350 destinations and itineraries solely.
The first flight operation of American Airlines (AA) was commenced in late 15th April 1926, carrying U.S mail from Missouri, St. Louis to Chicago, Illinois. After 8 years of mail service, it started serving common people, helping them to travel from one place to another. On June 25, 1936, American Airlines’ first commercial flight DC-3 was commenced between New York and Chicago.

As of 2018 statistics, American operates over 95 domestic destinations as well as 95 international destinations in 55 countries throughout the world.
It maintains ten hubs located in Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW), Chicago–O’Hare (ORD), Philadelphia (PHL), Charlotte (CLT), Miami (MIA), Phoenix–Sky Harbor (PHX), Washington–National, Los Angeles (LAX), New York–JFK, and New York–LaGuardia (LGA). However, Tulsa International Airport serves as its main hub of flight operations.
American Airlines is one of the prominent as well as the founding members of Oneworld Alliance. Because of its membership with the world’s celebrating aviation alliance, American Airlines is able to serve nearly 1,000 destinations in 150 countries.
